God QUICKENS all things

 

2 Corinthians 3:6

King James Version

6 Who also hath made us able ministers 

of the new testament; 

not of the letter, 

but of the spirit: 

for the letter killeth, 

but the spirit giveth life.

What is quickening, but a revival of spirits, making alive the Spirit of God in us.

The SPIRIT of LIFE is the SPIRIT of GOD.

We are given our life back, physically, and spiritually.

It is the SPIRIT of GOD that quickens.

2 Corinthians 2:15

15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, 

in them that are saved, 

and in them that perish:

A very strange, and yet wonderful thing has been happening to me lately.

For over a week now, I've been getting a whiff of some SWEET SCENT, unlike anything I have ever encountered before.

At first, the scent comes when I think of God.

But today, it all changed.

I had been studying some verses, on a theme the HOLY SPIRIT led me to, hoping to write an article about it.

When I got to this particular verse, the lovely scent came FULL force.

Psalm 119:63

King James Version

63 I am a companion of all them that fear thee, 

and of them that keep thy precepts.

Thinking I must have been imagining it, I kept on.

Except every time I'd study a verse from Psalm 119, the scent would come again.

What to do?

I decided to focus on Psalm 119. 

These are the verses that elicited that lovely, sweet scent from heaven:

97 O how love I thy law! 

it is my meditation all the day.

Of course, as I write the draft of this post, the sweet scent came again.

Most surprisingly, the scent stayed till I got back to finalize this post.

Since working with the Holy Spirit of God, I've been having many unusual surprises.
