HALF the TRUTH

 

Galatians 1:8-9

King James Version

8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, 

preach any other gospel unto you 

than that which we have preached unto you, 

let him be accursed.

9 As we said before, so say I now again, 

if any man preach any other gospel unto you 

than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

What religion are you?

What does your religion teach?

Does it mention CHRIST?

What does it say about JESUS?

Does it acknowledge the LORD?

Or does it speak of many gods?

I ask these things because SPIRIT led me to the book of Matthew.

As I got to the third chapter, I suddenly recalled my once-Catholic upbringing.

That's at least 16 years of studying in Catholic schools.

Not counting the years I remained a Catholic, for many more years.

That's tons of years of indoctrination.

Being born again now, I began to spot the difference.

SPIRIT and Scripture showed me the missing parts.

I do not wish to lambast the Catholic church.

I have many things to be grateful for.

Through them, I learned about GOD.

Through them, I learned about JESUS.

Through them, I learned about the HOLY SPIRIT.

Through verses, they taught me about JESUS.

His birth, His life, His miracles.

Without such a foundation, I'd have no idea who JESUS is.

The only thing is, they shared HALF the truth.

Would truth be truth, if half of it is left out?

Catholicism has these disturbing doctrines:

-- The pope is the "holy father".

-- Mary is the "mediatrix".

-- Priests can absolve sins.

Well, Scripture corrected all that.

Now, I know Who the true HOLY FATHER is.

JESUS said this, when He prayed to GOD:

John 17:11

King James Version

11 And now I am no more in the world, 

but these are in the world, 

and I come to thee. Holy Father, 

keep through thine own name 

those whom thou hast given me, 

that they may be one, 

as we are.

Now, I know Who the MEDIATOR is.

Apostle Paul spoke of CHRIST:

1 Timothy 2:5-6

King James Version

5 For there is one God, 

and one mediator between God and men, 

the man Christ Jesus;

6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, 

to be testified in due time.

Now, I know Who can forgive sins.

Apostle John spoke of JESUS:

1 John 1:9

King James Version

9 If we confess our sins, 

he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, 

and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If the Catholic church was true, they'd have encouraged us to read Scripture.

They should have let the Bible speak to us.

That was the missing part to my spiritual education.

Unless and until GOD made me born again, I'd not have known.

Unless and until JESUS answered my prayers, I'd have been in the dark.

Unless and until SPIRIT started teaching me, I'd have kept searching.

Only Scripture can tell us about GOD's truth.

Only Scripture can tell us about JESUS.

Only Scripture can tell us about ourselves.

Only Scripture can reveal the prophecies.

Only Scripture can reveal the past, present, and future.

In all its beautiful accuracy.

As born again, I also learned JESUS is the "high priest".

How, then, can I ever look to man's doctrines?

The HOLY SPIRIT already teaches me the LORD's doctrines.

The Bible tells me everything I need to know.

In JESUS, I am content.

In these last days, it is important we seek truth.

I searched for ABSOLUTE TRUTH, and GOD gave it to me.

He made me search everywhere else first, exhaustively.

When I couldn't find it, with a part always missing, GOD took mercy upon my heart.

He finally made me born again.

A born again is taught by SPIRIT.

Now, I know ABSOLUTE TRUTH.

SPIRIT and Scripture reveal all.

Reflect upon your own religions.

Reflect upon your own doctrines.

What are you being taught?

Does it speak of JESUS?

Does it honor Him?

Does it speak of love, or of hatred?

Does it speak of peace, or of discord?

Does it speak of GOD, or of man?

There is ONE GREAT TRUTH.

Let this serve as our foundation:

John 14:6

King James Version

6 Jesus saith unto him, 

I am the way, the truth, and the life: 

no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

In one, simple verse, we understand FOUR things.

Proof of JESUS' divinity:

1. JESUS is the way.

2. JESUS is the truth.

3. JESUS is the life.

4. To get to GOD, you go THROUGH JESUS.

How can any religion deny us that truth?

Thus, JESUS declares:

John 5:39-41

King James Version

39 Search the scriptures; 

for in them ye think ye have eternal life: 

and they are they which testify of me.

40 And ye will not come to me, 

that ye might have life.

41 I receive not honour from men.

Job of FAITH

 

2 Corinthians 9:8

King James Version

8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; 

that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, 

may abound to every good work:

We have a job to do.

Especially in these chaotic times.

Where nothing seems to make sense.

Where suffering never seems to end.

We have work to do, that we may all survive.

We need FAITH.

To have a job of faith, we look to the FAITH of Job.

Here's the remarkable story of Job in the Bible.

GOD, being CREATOR of ALL, knows everything.

He knows how restless Satan is.

Job 1:6-7

King James Version

6 Now there was a day when the sons of God 

came to present themselves before the Lord, 

and Satan came also among them.

7 And the Lord said unto Satan, 

Whence comest thou? 

Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, 

From going to and fro in the earth, 

and from walking up and down in it.

But GOD also knows of one faithful servant.

Job 1:8

King James Version

8 And the Lord said unto Satan, 

Hast thou considered my servant Job, 

that there is none like him in the earth, 

a perfect and an upright man, 

one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Satan knows the hedge of protection GOD has upon Job.

Job 1:9-10

King James Version

9 Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, 

Doth Job fear God for nought?

10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, 

and about his house, 

and about all that he hath on every side? 

thou hast blessed the work of his hands, 

and his substance is increased in the land.

The merciless one mocks Job's devotion to the LORD.

Job 1:11

King James Version

11 But put forth thine hand now, 

and touch all that he hath, 

and he will curse thee to thy face.

GOD allows Satan to do what he's good at, under ONE condition.

Job 1:12

King James Version

12 And the Lord said unto Satan, 

Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; 

only upon himself put not forth thine hand. 

So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.

As you can well imagine, given free rein, Satan performed thoroughly.

He took away everything from Job.

The Sabeans slew his servants.

Fire consumed his sheep, and other servants.

The Chaldeans took his camels, and slew his other servants.

A great wind made the house fall upon his sons, as they dined.

Satan smote Job with "sore boils", from head to foot.

How did Job react, and respond, to all these sorrow?

When he lost his servants, sheep, camels, and sons, this is what Job did:

Job 1:20-22

20 Then Job arose, 

and rent his mantle, 

and shaved his head, 

and fell down upon the ground, 

and worshipped,

21 And said, 

Naked came I out of my mother's womb, 

and naked shall I return thither: 

the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; 

blessed be the name of the Lord.

22 In all this Job sinned not, 

nor charged God foolishly.

Job's integrity was tested.

But this he had to say:

Job 31:6

King James Version

6 Let me be weighed in an even balance 

that God may know mine integrity.

That very integrity was questioned by his own wife:

Job 2:9-10

King James Version

9 Then said his wife unto him, 

Dost thou still retain thine integrity? 

curse God, and die.

To which he replied:

Job 2:10

King James Version

10 But he said unto her, 

Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. 

What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, 

and shall we not receive evil? 

In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

What an astounding ACT of FAITH!

He passed the test of faith, and integrity.

It was a test, for GOD allowed Satan to plague Job.

But Job's faith in GOD would simply not be undone.

For this, GOD rewarded him greatly.

Job 42:10

King James Version

10 And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, 

when he prayed for his friends: 

also the Lord gave Job twice as much 

as he had before.

Job 42:12

King James Version

12 So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job 

more than his beginning: 

for he had fourteen thousand sheep, 

and six thousand camels, 

and a thousand yoke of oxen, 

and a thousand she asses.

Job 42:13

King James Version

13 He had also seven sons 

and three daughters.

Job 42:15

King James Version

15 And in all the land were no women 

found so fair as the daughters of Job: 

and their father gave them inheritance 

among their brethren.

Job 42:16-17

King James Version

16 After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, 

and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, 

even four generations.

17 So Job died, 

being old and full of days.

Surely, Job also received what JESUS promised:

Matthew 5:8

King James Version

8 Blessed are the pure in heart: 

for they shall see God.

This story shows that GOD has POWER over EVERYTHING.

That GOD loves His faithful.

Why would we ever doubt it?

May we put our faith in Him alone.

For we shall need it.

In these very dark days.

CREATING a government

 

Psalm 127:1

King James Version

127 Except the Lord build the house, 

they labour in vain that build it: 

except the Lord keep the city, 

the watchman waketh but in vain.

I had no idea creating governments was fun.

The least liked, became the most liked.

The most avoided, became the most welcome.

The most painstaking, became the most delightful!

The most complex, became the easiest.

Now, now, you're boasting, you're probably saying.

Nope, there really is a more fun, and easier way.

Cringing at what man had created, I found a better way.

On how to create governments.

FOUNDED upon spiritual principles.

GUIDED by SPIRIT.

BUILT by Scripture.

BASED on JESUS' teachings.

BUILT as an altar for GOD.

With the intention of serving the forgotten.

With no politics in mind.

Is such a government possible?

JESUS taught me these:

Matthew 6:33

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, 

and his righteousness; 

and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 17:20

King James Version

20 And Jesus said unto them, 

Because of your unbelief: 

for verily I say unto you, 

If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, 

ye shall say unto this mountain, 

Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; 

and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Mark 9:23

King James Version

23 Jesus said unto him, 

If thou canst believe, 

all things are possible 

to him that believeth.

In GOD I truly trust.

In GOD I rely upon.

In GOD I live by.

Our currency is SPIRITUAL currency.

Everything that is acceptable to GOD.

In consonance with His laws.

That is the stand of a true born again.

Of one who truly cares for others.

Of one who lives by the WORD.

Of one who desires real change.

Now, there remains a question.

Is it possible to create a government without politics?

Oh yes!

A resounding yes!

Psalm 19:14

14 Let the words of my mouth, 

and the meditation of my heart, 

be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, 

my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalm 37:30-31

King James Version

30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, 

and his tongue talketh of judgment.

31 The law of his God is in his heart; 

none of his steps shall slide.

1 Kings 22:14

14 And Micaiah said, 

As the Lord liveth, 

what the Lord saith unto me, 

that will I speak.

1 Corinthians 2:1-2

2 And I, brethren, when I came to you, 

came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, 

declaring unto you the testimony of God.

2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, 

save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth,

1 Corinthians 13:1

13 Though I speak 

with the tongues of men and of angels,

and have not charity, 

I am become as sounding brass, 

or a tinkling cymbal.

If you have the heart for real change, you can build something of value.

Something that is acceptable to GOD, and not to the whims of man.

Something that truly serves, those GOD taught us to serve.

At any given moment, governments can improve.

Governments can truly serve the people.

Politics will be gone.

Self-serving interests will be gone.

Only CHRIST will remain.

Wow, wouldn't that be something?

It's possible if we do these:

CREATE with heart.

PRAY to know.

BELIEVE in JESUS.

LOVE GOD above all.

BECOME born again.

LISTEN to SPIRIT.

HAVE the HEART of a child.

Who believes in possibilities.

Who is teachable.

Who has fresh perspective.

A future government is coming.

It's all preparation now.

All these is but heart preparation.

Doing all we can, before the Rapture.
