JESUS said:

That ye love one another;
as I have loved you,
that ye also love one another.
How do you really know you truly love?
How do you really know your love is true?
How do you know it's authentic?
If you can love as GOD did, then you truly love.
If you can love as CHRIST did, then you truly love.
If you can love as the HOLY SPIRIT does, then you truly love.
If you can love the poor, the oppressed, the forgotten, the helpless, the unborn, the sick, the depressed, those who are suffering, then you truly love.
If you love GOD, more than self, then you truly love.
If you love others, more than self, then you truly love.
If your focus is on obeying GOD's WILL, then you truly love.
If your only objective is to live by SCRIPTURE, then you truly love.
If the world's ways don't please you, then you truly love.
If your desire is to believe and follow JESUS, then you truly love.
How can it not?
JESUS taught us HOW to LOVE.
Luke 15:4-6
