Matthew 6:8

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them:
for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of,
before ye ask him.
Have you prayed for something you really want?
Has your prayer been answered?
If not, why do you think so?
What makes GOD answer a prayer?
Do you pray at all?
Is there a right way of praying?
Scripture will make it all simple here.
This is what makes GOD answer a prayer:
1 John 5:14
King James Version
14 And this is the confidence that we have in him,
that, if we ask any thing according to his will,
he heareth us:
You see, that's the SECRET.
Whatever we ask for, must be done ACCORDING to the Father's will.
JESUS did teach us how and what to pray:
Luke 11:2
King James Version
2 And he said unto them,
When ye pray, say,
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
as in heaven,
so in earth.
Just so you know, the WILL of the FATHER is not aligned with the desires of the world.
1 John 2:15
King James Version
15 Love not the world,
neither the things that are in the world.
If any man love the world,
the love of the Father is not in him.
1 John 2:16
King James Version
16 For all that is in the world,
the lust of the flesh,
and the lust of the eyes,
and the pride of life,
is not of the Father,
but is of the world.
Romans 12:2

2 And be not conformed to this world:
but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that ye may prove what is that good,
and acceptable,
and perfect,
will of God.
Our only safety, and security, is in obeying GOD.
1 John 2:17

17 And the world passeth away,
and the lust thereof:
but he that doeth the will of God
abideth for ever.
It is really very easy to know the WILL of GOD.
For everything is in Scripture.
Everything has been explained by JESUS.
Everything has been given the prophets.
But man continues to rebel.
Once GOD's SPIRIT is in you, as born again, your delight will be in obeying GOD, serving Him, and others.
Everything becomes clear, pure, and simple.
Everything will pass away, but the WORD of GOD.
As such, we are to honor Scripture.
It's time we did.
