Hebrews 9:14

How important is the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD in our lives?
Why does He matter so much?
If you've read the blogs SPIRIT and I created, you'd know it's ALL of Him.
We draw our life, our strength, our breath, from the SPIRIT of GOD.
Genesis 2:7
King James Version
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living soul.
Without the SPIRIT of GOD, we cannot possibly live.
We cannot thrive.
We cannot know.
We cannot be CHRIST's.
We wouldn't have life in us.
We'd be empty shells, awaiting the LORD's BREATH of LIFE.
Through His SPIRIT, we begin to really understand Scripture.
That's how you know who are GOD's, for they care to know Scripture alone.
They will not mouth words that aren't theirs.
They will only lead you to the Bible, for any question you want to ask.
In a dream I had many many years ago, I saw that WHITE DOVE, the Holy Spirit's form upon a wall.
Whether as former Catholic, and eventually anointed by GOD as born again nearly 26 months ago, the HOLY SPIRIT is depicted as a WHITE DOVE in my life.
Which Scripture testifies to.
Matthew 3:16-17
King James Version
16 And Jesus,
when he was baptized,
went up straightway out of the water:
and, lo,
the heavens were opened unto him,
and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove,
and lighting upon him:
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying,
This is my beloved Son,
in whom I am well pleased.
The way up to Him meant I had to traverse VERY NARROW cantilevered steps, up a doorway, filled with LIGHT.
The steps were so narrow, I could only take it one foot in front of the other, with no railing to hold on to.
Those were the days I was seeking for something I couldn't find.
Those were the days my soul was really opening up.
I knew, then, that life wouldn't be easy.
As it really hasn't been for me, since day one.
But when you begin to understand SPIRIT, as born again, your life will be truly transformed.
You will DELIGHT in each day's lessons.
You will be GRATEFUL for being awakened to the TRUTH of GOD.
Your heart will lovingly open up to God.
Joel 2:13

13 And rend your heart,
and not your garments,
and turn unto the Lord your God:
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger,
and of great kindness,
and repenteth him of the evil.
Scripture will be easy to understand, for you become as a child, eager to learn.
JESUS commanded we be as little children.
Matthew 18:3-4

3 And said,
Verily I say unto you,
Except ye be converted,
and become as little children,
ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child,
the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
You've got to be child-like with GOD, for that is a FRUIT of the SPIRIT.
You know SPIRIT works in you, when you have that delight, and humility.
Galatians 5:22-23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love,
joy,
peace,
longsuffering,
gentleness,
goodness,
faith,
23 Meekness,
temperance:
against such there is no law.
Ephesians 5:8-10
King James Version
8 For ye were sometimes darkness,
but now are ye light in the Lord:
walk as children of light:
9 (For the fruit of the Spirit
is in all goodness
and righteousness
and truth;)
10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
Without the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD, our knowledge in this world, is as nothing.
Only through God-breathed SCRIPTURE can we begin to know the ways of GOD.
2 Timothy 3:16-17

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof,
for correction,
for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect,
thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
And live, as GOD would want us to live.
And praise, as GOD would want us to praise.
SEEK GOD with all your heart, with everything you've got.
Remain on such a path, and WATCH what happens.
The things of the world will fall away.
For you would have found what MATTERS MOST.
It's not matter.
It's GOD's SPIRIT.
John 4:24
