Psalm 145:1-3
King James Version
145 I will extol thee,
my God,
O king;
and I will bless thy name
for ever and ever.
2 Every day will I bless thee;
and I will praise thy name
for ever and ever.
3 Great is the Lord,
and greatly to be praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable.
GREAT is the LORD!
We have no idea His mystery, and complexity.
Much less, His mercy.
But Scripture, through apostle Paul, has a striking example as proof.
Of how Israel -- GOD's chosen nation -- momentarily sleeps, that we, the Gentiles, might wake up, too.
Romans 11:25
King James Version
25 For I would not,
brethren,
that ye should be ignorant of this mystery,
lest ye should be wise in your own conceits;
that blindness in part is happened to Israel,
until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Through their fall, we are saved.
Romans 11:11
King James Version
11 I say then,
Have they stumbled that they should fall?
God forbid:
but rather through their fall
salvation is come unto the Gentiles,
for to provoke them to jealousy.
We are to be cognizant of the GIFT of GRACE.
Romans 11:12
King James Version
12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world,
and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles;
how much more their fulness?
With God's aim, the reconciling of the world.
Romans 11:15
King James Version
15 For if the casting away of them
be the reconciling of the world,
what shall the receiving of them be,
but life from the dead?
And, in all humility, we Gentiles must be grateful to God.
Romans 11:19
King James Version
19 Thou wilt say then,
The branches were broken off,
that I might be grafted in.
God is the ONLY one in control of our COMBINED futures.
Romans 11:20
King James Version
20 Well;
because of unbelief they were broken off,
and thou standest by faith.
Be not highminded,
but fear:
Fair warning is given to Gentiles.
Romans 11:21-22
King James Version
21 For if God spared not the natural branches,
take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God:
on them which fell,
severity;
but toward thee,
goodness,
if thou continue in his goodness:
otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
And, an open invitation to the Jews.
Romans 11:23
King James Version
23 And they also,
if they abide not still in unbelief,
shall be grafted in:
for God is able to graft them in again.
Herein lies the MYSTERY.
Romans 11:28
King James Version
28 As concerning the gospel,
they are enemies for your sakes:
but as touching the election,
they are beloved for the father's sakes.
With GOD's objective being clear.
Romans 11:30-32
King James Version
30 For as ye in times past have not believed God,
yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
31 Even so have these also now not believed,
that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief,
that he might have mercy upon all.
Let us honor Israel, the "natural branch".
Romans 11:24
King James Version
24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree
which is wild by nature,
and wert grafted contrary to nature
into a good olive tree:
how much more shall these,
which be the natural branches,
be grafted into their own olive tree?
GOD designed, that all be ONE.
Romans 11:17
King James Version
17 And if some of the branches be broken off,
and thou,
being a wild olive tree,
wert grafted in among them,
and with them
partakest of the root and fatness
of the olive tree;
The Bible is full of GOD's MERCY.
How our continuing abominations, both Jew, and Gentile, stretch the LORD's love, patience, and mercy.
And how our lives are tied up with Israel, and with each other.
All have been prophesied.
And GOD's will be done.
It's time to wake up now.
And become born again.
That you may understand the ways of SPIRIT.
As men of flesh, we don't have the capacity to do so.
Being born again, of water and of the Spirit, we begin to understand the mysteries and complexity of God.
The HOLY SPIRIT is Teacher, and Comforter.
He has been tasked to teach us about JESUS.
The HOLY SPIRIT must be so important, for the LORD JESUS gave this warning:
Matthew 12:31-32
King James Version
31 Wherefore I say unto you,
All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men:
but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost
shall not be forgiven unto men.
32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man,
it shall be forgiven him:
but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost,
it shall not be forgiven him,
neither in this world,
neither in the world to come.
Mark 3:28-30
King James Version
28 Verily I say unto you,
All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men,
and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost
hath never forgiveness,
but is in danger of eternal damnation.
30 Because they said,
He hath an unclean spirit.
