Why was JESUS MANIFESTED?

The PROPHECY:

Isaiah 9:6

King James Version

6 For unto us a child is born,

unto us a son is given:

and the government shall be upon his shoulder:

and his name shall be called Wonderful,

Counsellor,

The mighty God,

The everlasting Father,

The Prince of Peace.

Perhaps, we take it for granted why Jesus came down from heaven, and took on the form of flesh.

Surely, the Lord had a very important mission in doing so.

Here are the reasons why JESUS appeared to us, in the form of man:

-- God loves us.

-- So we may have everlasting life.

John 3:16

King James Version

16 For God so loved the world,

that he gave his only begotten Son

that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,

but have everlasting life.

-- That through Jesus, the world may be saved.

John 3:17

King James Version

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;

but that the world through him

might be saved.

-- It is the Father's will.

John 6:38

King James Version

38 For I came down from heaven,

not to do mine own will,

but the will of him that sent me.

-- That Jesus may raise it up again at the last day.

John 6:39-40

King James Version

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me,

that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing,

but should raise it up again at the last day.

-- To take away our sins.

1 John 3:5

King James Version

5 And ye know that he was manifested

to take away our sins

and in him is no sin.

-- To destroy the works of the devil.

1 John 3:8

King James Version

8 He that committeth sin is of the devil

for the devil sinneth from the beginning.

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested,

that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Only by becoming born again, were these things made clear to me, through Scripture, by the Holy Spirit.

I am forever grateful to the LORD.
