1 John 5:11

11 And this is the record,
that God hath given to us eternal life,
and this life is in his Son.
It is important to know who JESUS is.
Let Scripture testify of the SON.
JESUS is the last Adam, and was made a "quickening spirit".
1 Corinthians 15:45

45 And so it is written,
The first man Adam was made a living soul;
the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
JESUS is the LORD from heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:47

47 The first man is of the earth,
earthy;
the second man
is the Lord from heaven.
CHRIST, through His resurrection, is the firstfruits of all who slept.
1 Corinthians 15:20

20 But now is Christ risen from the dead,
and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
In CHRIST, we shall all be made alive.
1 Corinthians 15:22

22 For as in Adam all die,
even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
Without JESUS, we can do nothing.
John 15:5

He that abideth in me,

JESUS is the way, the truth, and the life.
John 14:6

JESUS is the life, and the light.
John 1:4

Believing in JESUS gives us eternal life.

JESUS is the bread of life.
John 6:48-50

49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness,
and are dead.
50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven,
that a man may eat thereof,
and not die.
JESUS is the living bread from heaven.
John 6:51

51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven:
if any man eat of this bread,
he shall live for ever:
and the bread that I will give is my flesh,
which I will give for the life of the world.
JESUS will raise His faithful on the last day.
John 6:39

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me,
that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing,
but should raise it up again at the last day.
All who come to JESUS came from the FATHER.
John 6:44

44 No man can come to me,
except the Father which hath sent me draw him:
and I will raise him up at the last day.
ALL power in heaven and earth have been given to JESUS.
Matthew 28:18

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them,

All power is given unto me
in heaven and in earth.
JESUS has come, that we may have life.
John 10:10

and to kill,
and to destroy:
I am come that they might have life,
and that they might have it more abundantly.
GOD gave His Son power over everything.
Ephesians 1:17-23

If we have JESUS, we have life.
1 John 5:12

The promise of life is in CHRIST JESUS.
2 Timothy 1:1

an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God,
according to the promise of life
which is in Christ Jesus,
CHRIST lives in those faithful to Him.
Galatians 2:20

20 I am crucified with Christ:
nevertheless I live;
yet not I,
but Christ liveth in me:
and the life which I now live in the flesh
I live by the faith of the Son of God,
who loved me,
and gave himself for me.
JESUS testifies of His FATHER.
1 John 5:20

and hath given us an understanding,
that we may know him that is true,
and we are in him that is true,
even in his Son Jesus Christ.
This is the true God,
and eternal life.
The SON quickens whom He will.
John 5:21

21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead,
and quickeneth them;
even so the Son quickeneth
whom he will.
JESUS quickens those dead in sin.
Ephesians 2:1

2 And you hath he quickened,
who were dead in trespasses and sins;
We can do all things through CHRIST.
Philippians 4:13

13 I can do all things through Christ
which strengtheneth me.
Our REST is in JESUS.
Matthew 11:28-30

28 Come unto me,
all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you,
and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart:
and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy,
and my burden is light.
