BREAKING strongholds

The LORD JESUS said:

Luke 10:19

King James Version

19 Behold,

I give unto you power to tread

on serpents and scorpions,

and over all the power of the enemy:

and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

It's time to break the enemy's strongholds.

It's time to inform people of his stranglehold.

It's time for people to know GOD's WORD, that they may know the TRUTH of CHRIST.

Although the enemy had been defeated at the CROSS, he is still party to the last battle.

The LORD's battle, that will end all battles.

Believers in JESUS know who they fight against.

Non-believers have no idea.

2 Corinthians 4:4

King James Version

4 In whom the god of this world

hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,

lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,

who is the image of God,

should shine unto them.

As born again, I believe we are in the THICK of fight.

Revelation 12:12

King James Version

12 Therefore rejoice,

ye heavens,

and ye that dwell in them

Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea!

for the devil is come down unto you,

having great wrath,

because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

We are hit on all fronts.

Only the the BIBLE -- the WORD of GOD -- will keep us afloat.

It is the ONLY thing that will REMAIN.

The LORD JESUS declared it to be so.

Matthew 24:35

King James Version

35 Heaven and earth shall pass away,

but my words shall not pass away.

The HOLY SPIRIT gave me these defining verses on how to break strongholds.

It's time people know what we fight against.

It's real, not imagined.

Ephesians 6:12

King James Version

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,

but against principalities,

against powers,

against the rulers of the darkness of this world,

against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Of course, the greatest deception, is to MAKE you THINK he doesn't exist.

It's a spiritual, and supernatural battle.

Man believes in what he sees.

That's why he questions the validity of such a battle.

But the LORD declared:

John 14:17

King James Version

17 Even the Spirit of truth;

whom the world cannot receive,

because it seeth him not,

neither knoweth him

but ye know him;

for he dwelleth with you,

and shall be in you.

You need to be born again, to be taught by the SPIRIT of GOD.

The crafty enemy has wormed his way through our lives, and in each other.

It's constant ambush, corruption, manipulation, division.

And that it's time -- through the POWER of the LORD JESUS -- to break the enemy's strongholds, for he has deceived us too long.

The enemy has enslaved our spirits, corrupted our minds, and souls, and defiled our bodies -- the TEMPLE of the HOLY SPIRIT.

He has made sure we are kept in darkness, and not see the LIGHT of CHRIST.

It's time to UPHOLD GOD's TRUTH, through JESUS CHRIST, our LORD, and SAVIOR.

Here are the verses on breaking strongholds.

FIRST, know the enemy:

2 Corinthians 10:3-6

King James Version

3 For though we walk in the flesh,

we do not war after the flesh:

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal,

but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

5 Casting down imaginations,

and every high thing that exalteth itself

against the knowledge of God,

and bringing into captivity every thought

to the obedience of Christ;

6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience,

when your obedience is fulfilled.

1 Peter 5:8

King James Version

8 Be sober,

be vigilant;

because your adversary the devil,

as a roaring lion,

walketh about,

seeking whom he may devour:

SECOND, know GOD's TRUTH.

John 3:5-7

King James Version

5 Jesus answered,

Verily, verily,

I say unto thee,

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee,

Ye must be born again.

John 8:31-32

King James Version

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,

If ye continue in my word,

then are ye my disciples indeed;

32 And ye shall know the truth,

and the truth shall make you free.

John 8:36

King James Version

36 If the Son therefore shall make you free,

ye shall be free indeed.

2 Corinthians 3:17

King James Version

17 Now the Lord is that Spirit:

and where the Spirit of the Lord is,

there is liberty.

John 16:33

King James Version

33 These things I have spoken unto you,

that in me ye might have peace.

In the world ye shall have tribulation:

but be of good cheer;

I have overcome the world.

Colossians 3:1-2

King James Version

3 If ye then be risen with Christ,

seek those things which are above,

where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2 Set your affection on things above,

not on things on the earth.

Matthew 12:28-29

King James Version

28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God,

then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house,

and spoil his goods,

except he first bind the strong man?

and then he will spoil his house.

Matthew 22:29

King James Version

29 Jesus answered and said unto them,

Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures,

nor the power of God.

James 4:7

King James Version

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God.

Resist the devil,

and he will flee from you.

1 Peter 5:9-11

King James Version

9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith,

knowing that the same afflictions

are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

10 But the God of all grace,

who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus,

after that ye have suffered a while,

make you perfect,

stablish,

strengthen,

settle you.

11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever.

Amen.

1 Corinthians 10:13

King James Version

13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man:

but God is faithful,

who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able;

but will with the temptation also make a way to escape,

that ye may be able to bear it.

THIRD, put on the WHOLE ARMOR of GOD.

Ephesians 6:10-18

King James Version

10 Finally, my brethren,

be strong in the Lord,

and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God,

that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,

but against principalities,

against powers,

against the rulers of the darkness of this world,

against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,

that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day,

and having done all,

to stand.

14 Stand therefore,

having your loins girt about with truth,

and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod

with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all,

taking the shield of faith,

wherewith ye shall be able to quench

all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation,

and the sword of the Spirit,

which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication

in the Spirit,

and watching thereunto

with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

FOURTH, commit your life to GOD.

1 Peter 2:1-3

King James Version

2 Wherefore laying aside all malice,

and all guile,

and hypocrisies,

and envies,

and all evil speakings,

2 As newborn babes,

desire the sincere milk of the word,

that ye may grow thereby:

3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

1 Peter 2:11

King James Version

11 Dearly beloved,

I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims,

abstain from fleshly lusts,

which war against the soul;

Ephesians 4:1-7

King James Version

4 I therefore,

the prisoner of the Lord,

beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation

wherewith ye are called,

2 With all lowliness and meekness,

with longsuffering,

forbearing one another in love;

3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit

in the bond of peace.

4 There is one body,

and one Spirit,

even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5 One Lord,

one faith,

one baptism,

6 One God and Father of all,

who is above all,

and through all,

and in you all.

7 But unto every one of us is given grace

according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Ephesians 4:11-15

King James Version

11 And he gave some, apostles;

and some, prophets;

and some, evangelists;

and some, pastors

and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints,

for the work of the ministry,

for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith,

and of the knowledge of the Son of God,

unto a perfect man,

unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children,

tossed to and fro,

and carried about with every wind of doctrine,

by the sleight of men,

and cunning craftiness,

whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15 But speaking the truth in love,

may grow up into him in all things,

which is the head,

even Christ:

Ephesians 4:17-32

King James Version

17 This I say therefore,

and testify in the Lord,

 that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk,

in the vanity of their mind,

18 Having the understanding darkened,

being alienated from the life of God

through the ignorance that is in them,

because of the blindness of their heart:

19 Who being past feeling

have given themselves over unto lasciviousness,

to work all uncleanness with greediness.

20 But ye have not so learned Christ;

21 If so be that ye have heard him,

and have been taught by him,

as the truth is in Jesus:

22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation

the old man,

which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

24 And that ye put on the new man,

which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

25 Wherefore putting away lying,

speak every man truth with his neighbour:

for we are members one of another.

26 Be ye angry,

and sin not:

let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

27 Neither give place to the devil.

28 Let him that stole steal no more:

but rather let him labour,

working with his hands the thing which is good,

 that he may have to give to him that needeth.

29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth,

but that which is good to the use of edifying,

that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God,

whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

31 Let all bitterness,

and wrath,

and anger,

and clamour,

and evil speaking,

be put away from you,

with all malice:

32 And be ye kind one to another,

tenderhearted,

forgiving one another,

even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
