King James Version
16 For who hath known
the mind of the Lord,
that he may instruct him?
but we have the mind of Christ.
Is it our fault, or our parents, that we experience illness, misfortune, or live a troubled life?
Here's how JESUS answered:
John 9:1-3
King James Version
9 And as Jesus passed by,
he saw a man
which was blind from his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying,
Master, who did sin,
this man, or his parents,
that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered,
Neither hath this man sinned,
nor his parents:
but that the works of God
should be made manifest in him.
That means, we are not to judge.
We do not have the mind of God.
We do not know His specific purpose.
But the faithful Joseph, who was given the ability to decode dreams, understood.
That's why he was able to forgive his brothers.
Genesis 50:20
King James Version
20 But as for you,
ye thought evil against me;
but God meant it unto good,
to bring to pass,
as it is this day,
to save much people alive.
Only a heart, perfectly attuned to God, can see God's way.
And not get in His way.
If you're born again, you will understand the ways of Spirit.
Scripture has many other verses testifying of God's PERFECT purpose for the challenges in our lives.
These will surely be a source of clarity, and comfort, for all of us.

Isaiah 46:9-11
King James Version
9 Remember the former things of old:
for I am God,
and there is none else;
I am God,
and there is none like me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning,
and from ancient times
the things that are not yet done,
saying,
My counsel shall stand,
and I will do all my pleasure:
11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east,
the man that executeth my counsel
from a far country:
yea, I have spoken it,
I will also bring it to pass;
I have purposed it,
I will also do it.
Jeremiah 29:11-12
King James Version
11 For I know the thoughts
that I think toward you,
saith the Lord,
thoughts of peace,
and not of evil,
to give you an expected end.
12 Then shall ye call upon me,
and ye shall go and pray unto me,
and I will hearken unto you.
Jeremiah 32:19
King James Version
19 Great in counsel,
and mighty in work:
for thine eyes are open
upon all the ways of the sons of men:
to give every one according to his ways,
and according to the fruit of his doings:
Acts 2:23

23 Him,
being delivered
by the determinate counsel
and foreknowledge of God,
ye have taken,
and by wicked hands
have crucified and slain:
Acts 13:36-37
King James Version
36 For David,
after he had served his own generation
by the will of God,
fell on sleep,
and was laid unto his fathers,
and saw corruption:
37 But he,
whom God raised again,
saw no corruption.

Colossians 1:12-20
King James Version
12 Giving thanks unto the Father,
which hath made us meet
to be partakers
of the inheritance of the saints
in light:
13 Who hath delivered us
from the power of darkness,
and hath translated us
into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption
through his blood,
even the forgiveness of sins:
15 Who is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn of every creature:
16 For by him were all things created,
that are in heaven, and that are in earth,
visible and invisible,
whether they be thrones, or dominions,
or principalities, or powers:
all things were created by him,
and for him:
17 And he is before all things,
and by him all things consist.
18 And he is the head of the body,
the church:
who is the beginning,
the firstborn from the dead;
that in all things
he might have the preeminence.
19 For it pleased the Father
that in him should all fulness dwell;
20 And, having made peace
through the blood of his cross,
by him to reconcile all things
unto himself;
by him, I say,
whether they be things in earth,
or things in heaven.
1 Peter 2:9
King James Version
9 But ye are a chosen generation,
a royal priesthood,
an holy nation,
a peculiar people;
that ye should shew forth
the praises of him
who hath called you
out of darkness
into his marvellous light;
