RAPTURE and REPENTANCE

John the Baptist speaks of JESUS:

Matthew 3:12

King James Version

12 Whose fan is in his hand,

and he will throughly purge his floor,

and gather his wheat into the garner;

but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Today marks the 22nd month I've been born again.

Four months into my being a baby Christian, JESUS led me to the urgency of knowing about the Rapture.

That became the meat of my 30 blogs, and hundreds of posts.

The warning for all to TURN to GOD, to repent, and believe in the gospel, had been sounded by Jesus during His presence on earth.

Mark 1:15

King James Version

15 And saying,

The time is fulfilled,

and the kingdom of God is at hand:

repent ye,

and believe the gospel.

For we know not when the Lord will have His faithful meet Him up in the air.

Matthew 24:36

King James Version

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man,

no,

not the angels of heaven,

but my Father only.

Jesus also wondered:

Luke 18:8

King James Version

8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily.

Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh,

shall he find faith on the earth?

How many look to Jesus for salvation?

How many look to His Holy Spirit for education?

How many look to God, for everything?

How many care to know about the LORD?

All we have now -- personal glory and material possessions -- matter not before the Lord.

All He cares about is if we believe in Him.

John 14:1

King James Version

14 Let not your heart be troubled:

ye believe in God,

believe also in me.

That we obey His commandments.

John 14:15

King James Version

15 If ye love me,

keep my commandments.

That we love God.

Matthew 22:37-38

King James Version

37 Jesus said unto him,

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God

with all thy heart,

and with all thy soul,

and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

That we love each other.

Matthew 22:39

King James Version

39 And the second is like unto it,

Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

We are to be awake, aware, vigilant, and prayerful.

Matthew 26:41

King James Version

41 Watch and pray,

that ye enter not into temptation

the spirit indeed is willing,

but the flesh is weak.

We are to put on the whole armor of God, for we are constantly being ambushed by the enemy of God

1 Peter 5:8-9

King James Version

8 Be sober,

be vigilant

because your adversary the devil,

as a roaring lion,

walketh about,

seeking whom he may devour:

9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith,

knowing that the same afflictions

are accomplished in your brethren

that are in the world.

Jesus commanded we "watch" and "pray".

Mark 13:33-37

King James Version

33 Take ye heed,

watch and pray:

for ye know not when the time is.

34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey,

who left his house,

and gave authority to his servants,

and to every man his work,

and commanded the porter to watch.

35 Watch ye therefore:

for ye know not

when the master of the house cometh,

at even,

or at midnight,

or at the cockcrowing,

or in the morning:

36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

37 And what I say unto you I say unto all,

Watch.

The warnings have been sounded.

Jesus can come for His faithful, at ANY moment.

Are we ready for the Lord?

Are we worthy of Him?
