Why was the GRACE of GOD given?

John 3:16

King James Version

16 For God so loved the world,

that he gave his only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in him

should not perish,

but have everlasting life.

The Holy Spirit and I just shared GRACE of GOD earlier.

From that, I discovered JESUS was THAT GRACE.

These verses explain why we need JESUS in our lives.

Acts 15:11

King James Version

11 But we believe that

through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ

we shall be saved

even as they.

Acts 20:32

King James Version

32 And now,

brethren,

I commend you to God,

and to the word of his grace,

which is able to build you up,

and to give you an inheritance

among all them which are sanctified.

Romans 3:24-25

King James Version

24 Being justified freely by his grace

through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25 Whom God hath set forth

to be a propitiation through faith in his blood,

to declare his righteousness

for the remission of sins that are past,

through the forbearance of God;

Romans 5:1-2

King James Version

5 Therefore being justified by faith,

we have peace with God

through our Lord Jesus Christ:

2 By whom also we have access by faith

into this grace wherein we stand,

and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Romans 5:8

King James Version

8 But God commendeth his love toward us,

in that,

while we were yet sinners,

Christ died for us.

Ephesians 1:5-7

King James Version

5 Having predestinated us

unto the adoption of children

by Jesus Christ to himself,

according to the good pleasure of his will,

6 To the praise of the glory of his grace

wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

7 In whom we have redemption through his blood,

the forgiveness of sins,

according to the riches of his grace;

Titus 2:12

King James Version

12 Teaching us that,

denying ungodliness and worldly lusts,

we should live soberly,

righteously,

and godly,

in this present world;

Titus 2:14

King James Version

14 Who gave himself for us,

that he might redeem us from all iniquity,

and purify unto himself a peculiar people,

zealous of good works.

Titus 3:7

King James Version

7 That being justified by his grace,

we should be made heirs

according to the hope of eternal life.

1 Peter 5:10-11

King James Version

10 But the God of all grace,

who hath called us unto his eternal glory

by Christ Jesus,

after that ye have suffered a while,

make you perfect,

stablish,

strengthen,

settle you.

11 To him be glory and dominion

for ever and ever.

Amen.

2 Peter 1:3

King James Version

3 According as his divine power hath given unto us

all things that pertain unto life and godliness,

through the knowledge of him

that hath called us to glory and virtue:

2 Peter 1:4

King James Version

4 Whereby are given unto us

exceeding great and precious promises:

that by these ye might be partakers

of the divine nature

having escaped the corruption

that is in the world through lust.

Those verses reveal why GOD needed to GIVE His SON to us:

1. So we may have everlasting life.

2. For us to be saved.

3. That we be built up.

4. So we may have an inheritance.

5. To be a propitiation through faith in his blood.

6. For the remission of past sins.

7. To have peace through our Lord Jesus Christ.

8. To rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

9. To show God's love for us.

10. For we were predestinated to be adopted by Jesus.

11. To the praise of the glory of his grace.

12. To be accepted in the beloved.

13. To have redemption through his blood.

14. For the forgiveness of sins.

15. To teach us to be sober, righteous, and godly.

16. To redeem ourselves from all iniquity.

17. To be purified for Him.

18. To be zealous of good works.

19. To be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

20. To make us perfect, established, strong, and settled.

21. To give us all things that pertain unto life and godliness.

22. To call us to glory and virtue.

23. That we might be partakers of the divine nature.

24. To escape the corruption that is in the world, through lust.

The next post reveals what we really mean when we say, "By the grace of God".
