FLEE from sin

 

Psalm 143:9

King James Version

9 Deliver me, 

O Lord, 

from mine enemies: 

I flee unto thee to hide me.


What is sin?

Why must we flee from it?

Who can help us?

As always, Scripture -- the WORD of GOD -- is my only reference.


But, what kind of evil must we flee from?

Here's a laundry list of some sins:

1 Corinthians 10:14

my dearly beloved, 

flee from idolatry.


2 Timothy 2:22

22 Flee also youthful lusts

but follow righteousness, 

faith, 

charity, 

peace, 

with them that call on the Lord 

out of a pure heart.


1 Corinthians 6:18

18 Flee fornication

Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; 

but he that committeth fornication 

sinneth against his own body.


Romans 16:17

Matthew 5:28

Matthew 7:21-23

FLEE from sin.

Run, like the devil is after you.

For he is.

And since it's a laundry list, we need washing.
