JESUS said:
John 15:18

18 If the world hate you,
ye know that it hated me
before it hated you.
Why does the world hate Him so?
Why do they continue to defy the Lord?
Why are they trying to take Him out of our lives?
In a powerful verse, JESUS tells you Himself.
In so very few words, the Lord reveals the source of hatred:
John 7:7
King James Version
7 The world cannot hate you;
but me it hateth,
because I testify of it,
that the works thereof are evil.
Not surprisingly, for the WHOLE world is wicked.
1 John 5:19
King James Version
19 And we know that we are of God,
and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
The god of this world has his agenda.
2 Corinthians 4:4
King James Version
4 In whom the god of this world
hath blinded the minds of them
which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,
who is the image of God,
should shine unto them.
The one who causes people to hate the Lord, is the same prince on this verse.
Ephesians 2:2
King James Version
2 Wherein in time past ye walked
according to the course of this world,
according to the prince of the power of the air,
the spirit that now worketh
in the children of disobedience:
It is an unseen battle, for sure.
Ephesians 6:12
King James Version
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities,
against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places.
But this proud prince has been defeated by JESUS, at the cross.
Hebrews 2:14
King James Version
14 Forasmuch then as the children
are partakers of flesh and blood,
he also himself likewise took part of the same;
that through death he might destroy him
that had the power of death,
that is, the devil;
The enemy is allowed to roam -- for a while -- and that's why we must be vigilant.
1 Peter 5:8

8 Be sober,
be vigilant;
because your adversary the devil,
as a roaring lion,
walketh about,
seeking whom he may devour:
His time will be up soon, and he knows it.
Revelation 12:12
King James Version
12 Therefore rejoice,
ye heavens,
and ye that dwell in them.
Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea!
for the devil is come down unto you,
having great wrath,
because he knoweth
that he hath but a short time.
His fate has been sealed.
Jesus said so, Himself.
Matthew 25:41

Depart from me,
ye cursed,
into everlasting fire,
prepared for the devil
and his angels:
It's all been prophesied.
And the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD has a great role in the destruction of these enemies.
Those who know Scripture, hold their breath, for when Spirit will be "taken out of the way", events take their course.
2 Thessalonians 2:7-9

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:
only he who now letteth will let,
until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed,
whom the Lord shall consume
with the spirit of his mouth,
and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him,
whose coming is after the working of Satan
with all power and signs and lying wonders,
What about you?
Where do you stand?
Who do you serve?
Are you for, or against, God?
