Job 33:27-30
King James Version
7 He looketh upon men,
and if any say,
I have sinned,
and perverted that which was right,
and it profited me not;
28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit,
and his life shall see the light.
29 Lo,
all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,
30 To bring back his soul from the pit,
to be enlightened with the light of the living.
The Bible says there is a "light of the Gentiles".
We will never again walk in darkness.
The man who was prophesied, came to light.
To BE the LIGHT.
Isaiah 42:6-7

and give thee for a covenant of the people,
for a light of the Gentiles;

to bring out the prisoners from the prison,
and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.
Isaiah 49:6

It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant
to raise up the tribes of Jacob,
and to restore the preserved of Israel:
I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles,
that thou mayest be my salvation
unto the end of the earth.
Which was confirmed by the devout Simeon, who faithfully looked out for the LORD JESUS.
Luke 2:25-32

now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace,

30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
32 A light to lighten the Gentiles,
and the glory of thy people Israel.
And when the Lord Jesus started His ministry, He confirmed it Himself.
